Letters from my constituents
Ensuring what matters! People's voices are heard!
Lee has received hundreds of letters from constituents from Hawes, all the way to Great Ayton, and everything in between.
Here are a selection of the letters received (only names have been removed for privacy purposes).
Dear Lee,
Last week I left the army after 25 years service.
I am currently living in Army surplus accommodation in Catterick village as I am divorced with two kids who I have week on week off with my ex wife. I have just been denied an extension to help me out until I can find somewhere new to live.
There is over 20 empty houses on my street and from what I've been told. The houses are being given to refugees. I have also been told by the council that I am only entitled to a one bed (not that I'll get one) as I am not classed as a single parent.
I feel betrayed by my country and will be voting for you.
If you can raise this issue, it would be most appreciated. I only ask you don't use my name.
Best of luck and I hope you win.
Catterick Garrison
Dear Lee,
"We want our country back!"
Great Broughton
Dear Lee,
I'm fully behind you Lee, I love my country but hate what it has become.
My father was injured in the 1939 war. I missed 5 years of my very young life with my father. It was all for nothing. The country is being given away to hoodlums. Its time the country was run by people who put the country first not how much they can put in there wallets. So go Lee show them what you are made of. I wish you every success.
All the best to you, and your team.
Northallerton
Dear Lee,
I've never voted Conservative, or Labour for decades - I've barely voted at all, in recent years, due to a thorough sense of pointlessness and distrust of the two-candidate system - but, at age 54 - a self-employed software engineer and professional musician - I am determined to do my part to prevent the insane, anti-human, anti-Western madness that is Globalism - the 'Uniparty' that has taken control of most of the Western democracies must be stopped.
So, I would be more than happy to distribute leaflets in my area.
All the best to you, and your team.
Hawes
Dear Lee,
Good Luck, Best Wishes

Dear Lee,
Well done on putting yourself forward to be a Reform Candidate - you have my vote !
I value and agree on everything Reform stands for, we need a positive change of direction in this country.

Dear Lee,
Kick out the globalist parasites elected and none elected.

Dear Lee,
I am, like so many, disillusioned with our rural policies. We were lied to by Boris on his auction mart jaunts, telling us about bonfires of paperwork, cutting red tape and allowing us to get on with what we’re good at. Food production AND nature conservation whilst also delivering environmental benefits and feeding people.
Needless to say we have been let down by woeful policies that offer the taxpayer no value for money and serve only to line the pockets of ‘experts in their field’ botanists, ecologists and general jobsworths. The system is being bled dry by civil servants, all on decent wages who contract out to a chosen few who do work at vastly inflated prices. Don’t let anyone tell you that the countryside stewardship and ELMS schemes are paying the farmers as a substitute for the SPS. Honestly it’s outrageous what is going on, we are seen as the scourge of the earth, polluting the planet, destroying the countryside etc. We are either cast as factory farmers abusing animals for profit or alternatively lazy backwards yokels stuck in the past looking for handouts.
People are leaving the industry, mental health is at an all time low and the sunlit uplands that teem with birds, flowers, blanket bog and grazing livestock are in a state of decay. Please tell me that your party will put a stop to this ridiculous governance that has blighted us for so long. Please visit the auction marts, Hawes, Leyburn…Kirkby Stephen will be off you patch I suppose. Come and talk to us on market day, our troubles are so very different to those of urban areas.
Thanks for listening.

Dear Lee,
Sadly I cannot help as I am 24/7 carer for my husband.
Just wanted to let you know I will be voting Reform on election day. Policies look great and well documented and thought through for the people of the UK.
Thankyou for standing and living in your constituency

Dear Lee,
Good evening,
I’m writing to you in support of Lee Taylor’s upcoming campaign, and wanted to see if there was any way I could be of use! I joined Reform a few weeks ago and have been receiving emails from Matthew and Lee, so I should be on your system.
I work for a government body so I am restricted in what roles I could take on, however leafleting is harmless and shouldn’t involve any photo ops! I don’t have any particularly impressive skills, but I work with numbers, complex spreadsheets and finance software all day everyday, so I have a pretty solid attention to detail. I’d be happy doing some admin volunteer work - you probably already have people providing that support but I thought I’d mention it just in case, and I’m happy to do some leafleting when not clocked into the 9-5. Thanks!
Northallerton
Dear Lee,
Good luck Lee!
Northallerton
Dear Lee,
Hoping that you will get huge support from the garrison.
I am a strong supporter and hopefully sufficiently eloquent. Very happy to man a stall locally. I do think that you have a great opportunity here.
All the very best,
Easby
Dear Lee,
Firstly, good luck in the election and I hope you and Reform do well in our area.
I am a resident of Streelam near Danby Wiske near Northallerton. I have a recommendation and suggestion for vast cost savings within the UK government system that no other political party has ever mentioned or even thought of! This could be due to ignorance of the system and the way it works, or if you want, perhaps something certain people within the system want kept hushed up because of the vast sums of money they make!
Anyway, here we go....
The government, education system, NHS, and probably many others are mostly tied to an "approved supplier" system for all purchases when it comes to simple things like a pen all the way up to expensive machinery etc. The system means that each part of the civil infrastructure, for example schools, have to buy only from a catalogue supplied by an approved supplier. A school or hospital will have one or two catalogues as the only source for anything the school may need. They cannot purchase anything outside of these catalogues! The buyer is restricted to buying from them!
I once had one of these catalogues given to me years ago and the prices were extortionate and quite shocking! At the time and out of curiosity I compared the prices in the catalogue to prices for items available in ordinary shops for the exact same items made by the same manufacturer. I found something as simple as a Stradler pencil in the catalogue would be for example, 40 pence. But in a general store like Boyes in Northallerton you could buy a box of ten Stadler pencils for about 95 pence!
All the pricing in the catalogue was the same, and some company was doing very nicely out of it!
So my suggestion is... Appoint completely independent buyers that are overseen, with free rein to buy and haggle for the best and cheapest supplies within all civil and public services. Perhaps even put a profit cap on government suppliers of say, 10 to 15% above cost?
This really could free up billions!!!
I really hope you can make use of this and pass it on to the relevant people within Reform because it's genuinely an untapped and huge money saving idea! Personally it's something I'd love to do myself because I've lived my entire life finding the cheapest and most efficient way of making the most of money! Lol.
Best wishes
Danby Wiske
Dear Lee,
An Army veteran myself, I’m with Reform!!

Dear Lee,
I’m down in Suffolk and not in your area, but I just wanted to say that you have written a lovely bio on the Reform website - and I wish you the very best of luck in the election and hope you can give Suank a bloody nose. 👍
